Messing about on the river

Since yesterday was such a lovely day we went for our first punt of the season. Unfortunately so did the rest of Cambridge. As is usually the case we headed from Mill Pond - pictured here - towards Grantchester Meadows for a picnic since most people tend to mill around The Backs not getting anywhere.

The other advantage of going this way is that one can go to Dojo's after for fusion style noodles. Think Wagamama's but nice and inexpensive.

It's only when the summer starts to come out that you realise how lucky it is to live in such a green place.
