Taoism, Maoism, I Ching, and Chess

This modern re-working of the Tao Te Ching has prompted an excellent discussion on Metafilter. I've read a couple of translations of the Tao but have only grasped some of the simpler concepts. Light-weight intrepretations such as this seem to be a great introduction to what is a great guide for life.
